In this session, learn how to create and maintain an effective Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Compliance Program with discussions of the anti- bribery portion of the Act, the recordkeeping aspects, the overlap with SOX and how to avoid FCPA violations. The session also provides a high- level overview of the FCPA from an in-house perspective, scenarios on “following the cash” for book keeping and internal control purposes, and recent updates to the DOJ’s FCPA enforcement based on their current pilot program. Also discussed are high level strategies on how to cooperate with the two regulatory enforcement agencies if you suspect or must consider self-disclosing a violation of the Act.
