Product Description:

Juggling work and family responsibilities can be challenging, especially for attorneys with demanding clients, high caseloads, and strict deadlines. In this two-part CLE, psychologist Dan Crystal teaches how stress at work can crossover and impact family relationships and vice versa. Next, he teaches some strategies that you can use to recognize, prevent, and manage those stresses by improving your planning and communication techniques.

In the next session, hear from a panel of attorneys with children about the benefits of creating a more family friendly work environment. They also talk about the challenges that they faced while juggling their roles as both attorneys and caretakers. Lastly, they discuss how they sought out legal careers where they could reach their professional goals while maintaining strong family relationships.

Presenters:
Dan Crystal – LAP Program Manager, Washington State Bar Association, Seattle
Elijah Forde – Atlas Law PS, Olympia
Felicia Gittleman – Cowan Miller & Lederman, Seattle
Megan O’Brien – Integrative Family Law, PLLC, Seattle
