Lawyers often struggle to find the time to relax, much less attend a meditation group in person.  That’s why this weekly meditation course is being offered virtually so you can login at your desk right at noon.  Think of this course as a breath of fresh air that will teach you how to lure your blood pressure back to where it belongs. In addition to guided meditation, the course will include information on the science of mindfulness, how to relate with common obstacles to mindfulness faced by legal professionals, and how to apply mindfulness techniques outside of formal meditation.

 

Attorney and Meditator Greg Wolk will be leading a ten-week series that meets each Thursday at noon for thirty minutes.  The group begins on Thursday September 14 and runs for ten weeks.  The cost is $35.  A thoughtful curriculum about building your resiliency to discursiveness and stress as a legal professional has been created.  Once you are signed up, information will be provided on how to sign into the Zoom platform.

 

PRESENTER

Greg Wolk is an employment law attorney and trained meditation instructor with fifteen years of meditation practice. He has helped lead many extended meditation retreats and classes.  He spent approximately three years on sabbatical traveling the globe as an attendant to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, internationally renowned Tibetan Buddhist teacher and best-selling author.
