Presented in partnership with the WSBA Civil Rights Law Section

In 2017, the Civil Rights Law Section brought you a popular discussion of then Pressing Issues in Civil Rights Enforcement. Progress in the area of civil rights law remains uncertain and in a constant state of flux on both the federal and state level. It is more important than ever to keep up to date on the status of the law and recent changes. Although not all progress is forward, it is best to be prepared and to be able to advise your clients how to navigate the current system as effectively as possible.

Please join us as we continue the conversation in our upcoming CLE: Pressing Issues on Civil Rights Enforcement II. In this four hour course, guest speakers will address several timely areas of civil rights law, including but not limited to: immigration, the De-Escalate WA Initiative, sexual harassment in the workplace and voting rights.
