Please join us on April 21, 2026, for the Tax Section's Annual Luncheon.  Our keynote speaker this year will be Professor Ramón E. Ortiz-Vélez, Managing Director of the UW School of Law Federal Tax Clinic, who will present on the cross-section of immigration and taxes.  Please also join us to honor this year's recipient of the Roger Stouder Award, John Clynch.  After serving as a public defender for many years, Mr. Clynch began his career in taxation in the mid-2000s, ultimately becoming the Managing Director of the UW School of Law's Low-Income Tax Clinic in 2012. In his almost 20 years serving as the Managing Director, Mr. Clynch assisted untold numbers of Washingtonians in resolving their federal tax issues and made an indelible impression on countless law students along the way.
