This real estate CLE will focus on recent events in Washington including the COVID pandemic, public demonstrations, and wildfires. Pandemic-related topics will include landlord/tenant issues relating to COVID orders and contract issues surrounding force majeure, frustration, and impossibility doctrines. The CLE will also cover general liability and property insurance issues raised by COVID closings, public demonstration property damages and wildfire losses. Finally, we will have a legal ethics credit session on how to abide by the Rules of Professional Conduct when traditional ways of managing your practice are not currently feasible.
