The Environmental and Land Use Law Section helps members keep up with this rapidly developing area of law. The Section represents a diverse membership with individuals who are often on different sides of an issue, but who are all committed to civil and professional cooperation for the protection and enhancement of shared communities. Accordingly, the Section endeavors to continually and regularly provide opportunities and forums for the interchange of ideas surrounding environmental and land use law.
The Section provides benefits to members by initiating, implementing, and supporting projects that are relevant to environmental and land use law and that contribute to the protection and enhancement of the quality of the environment. The Section newsletter contains current, scholarly information on emerging trends in environmental and land use law, including analyses of cases, draft rules, and new statutes that affect this area of practice. Other forums include a midyear CLE conference held in the spring and Mini-CLEs throughout the year.
For more information on the many benefits of section membership, see the Environmental and Land Use Law Section website. For general questions, please e-mail inquiries to sections@wsba.org.
