Mineral Inheritors Rights Association (MIRA), founded in 2020, is an emerging coalition of different civil society actors in India, working towards ensuring democracy, social justice, transparency, equity, and accountability in extractive sector governance. This presentation will focus on MIRA's mission and future activities, focusing on the concept of shared inheritance as the larger narrative that MIRA follows. The presenters will also focus on Radical Transparency and their advocacy on 'Fit and Proper Person Test’ for extractive companies.
