Navigating the Trends in Commercial Contracting (October 2018)

COURSEBOOK

There are several big trends converging to re-shape commercial contracting. This day-long education program hosted by WSBA-CLE and co-sponsored by the IACCM will address three of those trends: Global regulation in the form of the EU’s General Data Protection Rights laws, the increasing reliance on high-risk, high-value contracts between companies, and the emergence of “simplified English” contracts. Additionally, we will examine drafting and negotiation techniques for I.P. clauses, the duty to be forthright in negotiations, and re-examine commercial standards.
