Effective Approaches in Working with Traumatized Clients (August 2023)

  • ON-DEMAND SEMINAR

Vicarious trauma is not the only stressor associated with working with traumatized clients. Often, traumatized clients themselves can be aggressive, hostile, difficult and/or unhelpful. Effective management of these clients, based on understanding how trauma impacts your particular client, is crucial to managing your own stress and preventing burnout. In this seminar, we will cover these management strategies plus relevant ethics, including RPCs 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.14, 1.16, and 2.1.
