The Washington State Bar Association is pleased to offer the 2025 Practice Primer seminar which focuses on Employment Law. The 2025 Practice Primer Employment Law tracks are:

  • Track 1: Starting the Employment Relationship
    Sessions include: Building Blocks of Hiring; Screening and Onboarding; Significant Considerations
  • Track 2: Managing the Employment Relationship
    Sessions include: Managing Employee Pay and Leave; Discrimination, Harassment, and Workplace Investigations; Bossware and Employee Discipline
  • Track 3: Ending the Employment Relationship
    Sessions include: Mechanics of Terminations & Voluntary Separations; Essentials of Wrongful Termination; Problem Resolution
Optional homework is assigned between sessions, giving you an opportunity to apply the concepts learned and earn extra CLE credit.*
