The World Peace Through Law Section focuses on international affairs and issues of war, peace, and law. The Section seeks to promote the rule of law and peaceful resolution of disputes among states and to foster education on public international law and human rights.

The Section provides benefits to members by offering frequent forums featuring experts addressing a variety of current world affairs topics. The Section also produces numerous continuing legal education programs dealing with challenging global and human rights issues. The Section publishes a newsletter and engages in activities with governmental entities and non-governmental organizations who share an interest in world peace through the law.
