Presented in collaboration with the WSBA Pro Bono & Public Service Council
Sponsored by ALPS
This presentation highlights innovative pro bono initiatives serving immigrant youth and families in Washington State. Presenters will provide an overview of the state predicate order process in SIJS cases and share how pro bono volunteers can participate through LCYC’s SIJS Virtual Clinic. Attendees will also learn about the Immigrant Safety Plan (ISP), a practical tool that helps families prepare for emergencies, and the unique role of pro bono volunteers in delivering this resource. The session will further explore Know Your Rights (KYR) clinics, offering context on immigration enforcement, KYR education, and rapid response strategies to support community safety.
