Description: Andrew Y. Kim (WSBA No. 21959, admitted 1992) of Everett, was reprimanded, effective 12/15/2022, by order of the Chief Hearing Officer. Kim’s conduct violated the following Rules of Professional Conduct: 1.3 (Diligence), 1.4 (Communication), 3.2 (Expediting Litigation), 8.4(l) ELC violation.

In relation to his representation of a client in a family law matter, Kim stipulated to reprimand for: 1) failing to reasonably communicate with the client regarding the status of the case, including that it had been dismissed; 2) failing to complete the client’s case for over 18 months, and failing to effectuate service; and 3) failing to promptly respond to ODC’s request for a copy of the client’s file.
