Presented in collaboration with the WSBA Small Town and Rural (STAR) Committee and the WSBA Law Clerk Board
Sponsored by ALPS
Rural communities in Washington face significant challenges in accessing legal services, and the APR 6 Law Clerk Program presents a unique pathway for expanding the rural attorney pipeline. This CLE will provide an overview of the Law Clerk Program and feature a panel of attorneys who will share insights on tutoring APR 6 Law Clerks. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the benefits and challenges of tutoring law clerks, the impact of this alternative pathway to licensure, and how it can help address the justice gap in underserved areas. Whether you are considering becoming a tutor or want to support rural legal practice, this session will provide valuable perspectives and practical guidance. Prospective law clerks are also welcome to attend this CLE.
