Ethical dilemmas are rarely clear-cut, and professionalism often requires more than simply complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct.  This highly interactive seminar features a series of timely and thought-provoking hypotheticals exploring complex issues at the intersection of ethics and professionalism.

An experienced panel will analyze and debate each scenario, offering differing perspectives and practical guidance while encouraging audience participation throughout the program.   Don't expect unanimous agreement.  The panelists will argue different sides, wrestle with competing values, and invite attendees to weigh in as they work through what the Washington Rules of Professional Conduct require—and what good judgment demands.

Topics will include artificial intelligence, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, client relationships, attorney fees, and other contemporary challenges confronting today’s lawyers.  Together, the panel and audience will explore not only what the Rules require, but also how professionalism, judgment, and practical wisdom guide ethical decision-making.
