Join us in-person or remotely for the Environmental and Land Use Midyear from May 14-15, 2026. We will be in Vancouver at the stunning Heathman Lodge this year as well as broadcasting live online. Hear from practitioners from around the state and region speaking on crucial topics and updates.
In addition to helpful programming, attendees will be provided ample time to be with colleagues and explore the Columbia River valley.
WALKING TOUR: VANCOUVER WATERFRONT TRANSFORMATION
Followed by Happy Hour at the AC Hotel Marriott Vancouver Waterfront
Join us for a walking tour of Terminal 1 at the Port of Vancouver and the adjacent waterfront. Our guides, Matt Harding, Environmental Project Manager for the Port of Vancouver, and Mark Person, Senior Planner with the City of Vancouver, will co-lead the tour and walk us through the history, planning, and vision behind the redevelopment of the Vancouver waterfront with a focus on the intersection of environmental and land use issues.
When: May 13 at 3:00pm
Location: Port of Vancouver, Terminal 1
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Happy hour to follow at the AC Hotel Marriott Vancouver Waterfront (open to all conference attendees, unsponsored)

The Environmental and Land Use Law Section is offering two scholarships toward 2026 ELUL Midyear Conference costs and expenses. Scholarships may be used for in-person conference registration and are designated for public interest or public service attorneys. Entries must be received on or before 5:00pm PDT on April 23, 2026.
